Icelandic Blanket - Ægissíða #1052

Ægissíða is the seaside street in Reykjavík where the city meets the Atlantic. This blanket carries that landscape in blues and greys — pattern no. 1052, designed by Védís Jónsdóttir in 100% Icelandic wool.

Icelandic wool is light and properly warm at the same time, so this is a throw you actually reach for: over the sofa, at the foot of the bed, around your shoulders on a cold evening. It is combed after weaving to soften it, and finished with a fringe.

130 × 180 cm plus fringe (about 52 × 71 in). Air it out between uses — it rarely needs washing. One of our most-gifted blankets, for weddings, housewarmings and thank-yous.
